From Student Tours to Custom International Travel Design: My Journey as a Trip Designer
Travel has always been more than just a passion for me, it's woven into my everyday life. My journey as an international trip designer began over a decade ago with a group of wide-eyed high school students boarding a plane to Italy. At the time, I was a teacher, organizing student tours to Europe so my students could experience history, art, and culture beyond the pages of a textbook.
Those trips were life-changing—not just for the students, but for me. I saw firsthand the magic that happens when someone steps into a new country for the first time: the curiosity, the awe, and the memories that stay with them forever.
From Student Adventures to Adult and Family Journeys
What started as coordinating student travel soon grew into planning group tours for adults, families, and friends. Before long, I was designingcustom international itineraries for small groups, couples, and families who wanted something more than an off-the-shelf trip.
I also specialize in river cruising, which allows my clients to unpack once and still explore multiple destinations—sailing along storied waterways like the Rhine, Danube, Rhône, and Seine, all while enjoying world-class service and stunning views.
