A Few Words Before You Go

Travel Comes With Surprises

As much as we hope everything goes perfectly, travel often comes with a few surprises. How you respond to those moments can make all the difference in the experience. Take a moment to read the tips below, they'll help you feel prepared and enjoy your trip even more.

Keep These in Mind

Tour Tips

🪪Bring ID. A copy of your passport is fine. Some sites won't allow entry without it. Many travelers carry a driver's license and a photo of their passport on their phone.
Arrive early. Plan to arrive early, or right at the stated time, for your tours.
📍Can't find your guide? Stay at the meeting spot and call the number on your voucher or the emergency number provided. Leaving the meeting point to handle things on your own makes the situation much harder to resolve.
💬Miscommunication or misunderstanding? This could be about meeting times, missed messages, tickets, or expectations. Let us know if this happens. If it's urgent, contact the emergency number or your On-Spot Concierge if that service is included in your trip.
🍯Be patient and kind. You'll attract more flies with honey than vinegar. Guides may have thicker accents or speak imperfect English, and they've likely learned fluency in multiple languages to share their country with you. Engage with them and enjoy the experience.
🚩Report rudeness immediately. Being late or hard to understand is one thing, rude behavior is not acceptable, from either side. Let us know right away if a guide, driver, or hotel staff member is rude to you.
